Advent season is upon us! Our churches have been busy preparing!
Everyone was invited to wear their Halloween costumes to church!
The Tofield church cross was overdue for some TLC, but who wants to climb up there to paint it all the time? Not us, so we decided to wrap it in metal so it never sees a paintbrush again! And while we had a crane rented, we thought we may as well fix some missing trim on the side of the church too!
Rev. Adam and the congregation worked hard to surprise Deanna (A member of Tofield United Church who went to St. Andrew's College to become an Ordained Minister) with a Convocation ceremony for her! She was unable to go to her Convocation Ceremony in Saskatoon to receive her Masters of Divinity Degree so Rev. Adam arranged to present her Academic Hood and Degree to her. It was a wonderful, emotionally charged moment. Congrats on all your hard work Deanna!
